Project timeframes can be very long – and the level of detail captured in Gantt Charts can cause you to need to frequently change the Scale of your Chart.
The Pulse Gantt Chart allows you to Zoom in and out of your Chart, or to Scroll Forwards and Backwards in time by using either the:
- Navigation Toolbar buttons
- Hot-key combinations with your mouse scroll-wheel
Gantt Navigation Toolbar
The Pulse Gantt Navigation Toolbar is located in the top right corner of the screen.
This Navigation Toolbar provides you with tools to Zoom and Scroll the Timings and Tasks shown in the Schedule .
Using Hotkeys and the Mouse Scroll wheel
These tools – except “zoom to fit” – can also be accessed using the mouse scroll wheel using the standard modifier keys that are commonly used for timeline navigation:
- Horizontal Scroll Shift + scroll wheel
- Zoom Control + scroll wheel (WIN) Command + scroll wheel
