What is a Master Timeline?
When you make a timeline, there are 3 different types that build on a single timeline:
- Master – This is the first timeline you create and serves as the official timeline.
- Scenario – This type of timeline allows you to make edits to your timeline without affecting the Master.
- Roll-Up -This timeline shows multiple schedules (either Master, Scenario, or both) in one unified view. You can “roll-up” any timelines you want to compare visually.
How to promote timeline to Master Timeline
- Timelines created after the original Master Timeline are made Scenario Timelines by default.
- Upgrading your Scenario Timeline to a Master Timeline will demote your current Master Timeline to a Scenario Timeline.
- To do this, select the “3 dots” in the upper right of the nav and click > “Promote to Master”
