Why do I need 'Rounds' of Review?

The ‘Rounds‘ feature gives you the ability to manage feedback for successive Versions of a Assets(s) within a single ‘Review‘.

Using ‘Rounds’, you can:

  • Open a Proof for an Asset, and use the ‘Compare Versions‘ tool – to visually compare Assets from previous Rounds.
  • Open the latest ‘Review Details‘ for an Asset, and see notes/feedback for all previous ‘Rounds‘ of Review.
  • Track the Approval status of previous Rounds

An Example of using Rounds

As an example, you may have a Project Deliverable such as ‘Create a Poster‘.

This may involve multiple ‘Rounds‘ of Creative Development. Each ‘Round‘ will typically result in a new version of a Document requiring Feedback, and eventually an Approval Decision.

Thus, you may go through multiple Rounds of review as follows:

  • Round 1 > Initial Concept > Feedback Only (No Decision Required)
  • Round 2 > Proposed Design > Feedback & Decision Required
  • Round 3 > Client Feedback > Decision Required (Feedback possible if Desired)
  • Round 4 > Final Version for Approval > Decision Required (Feedback Disabled)

Reviews with Tasks:
If you are using Pulse Tasks as part of your Project Workflow, you can also attach Reviews directly to a Task – further enhancing your ability to Plan, Organise, Manage and Track Reviews in your Projects.

When a Review is attached to a Task, all Rounds of the Review will be accessible from the Task.
